With your help, the Good Neighbor Center can continue to deliver comprehensive programming to PreK through college young people. Financial donations give us the opportunity to allocate funds directly where we need them, whether that be to purchase in bulk for the school supply store, books for the library, ipad and computer supplies for the computer lab, or basic operational expenses.

We are so grateful to our donors and the support they provide in helping the Good Neighbor Center to continue in our mission. YOU put a smile on our young people’s faces when they’re able to shop in the school supply store, check out a book from the library, or write a story on a computer from our lab.

School Supply Store
We proudly house a school supplies shop for students to obtain free school supplies, including books and backpacks, at back-to-school and to replenish throughout the year. Financial donations work best as we are able to purchase supplies in bulk; however, we do accept new and gently used school supplies.

Library Books
Our library is open to our learning community and their families. We are always looking to add new selections to our library, especially books that:

  • Have won the Caldecott and Newbery Medal, as well as the nominees
  • Celebrate people of color and their heritages
  • Are biographies like Who Was? series
  • Discuss feelings and kindness
  • Come in a series to encourage further reading
  • And so much more…

Winter Wear and Blankets
Minnesota winters can be harsh which is why we seasonally accept and supply new and gently used winter wear and blankets for children and adults.

Donate a Car
Used cars can be donated to Bob’s Auto Ranch (6020 Hodgson Road Lino Lakes, MN 55014), 100% of the proceeds goes to the Good Neighbor Center.

Volunteer
Volunteers are the essence of the Good Neighbor Center. We could not accept new learners or operate without our volunteers who generously donate their time and talent to help our students. We are always looking to add to our talented volunteer pool so complete the application because we’re ready to see you at our next tutoring night!

No matter how you choose to give, we thank you! The Good Neighbor Center relies on the community’s generous donations of time, talent, and resources to continue in our mission to educate and support young people.
